In the brain of human, plenty of information on images, sounds, motion, and so on is processed. In our laboratory, we are studying neural networks to realize the brain-inspired information processing. We pursuit both theoretical studies and applications. Recently, we developed a camera-settled robot controlled by human gestures and we applied recurrent neural networks to the prediction of pedestrian trajectories.
