Nondestructive methods for Mechanical Safety

This laboratory aims to improve safety and security in mechanical engineering. New nondestructive methods are invented and eveloped to predict remaining useful life of mechanical products. Three-dimensional welding residual stresses are estimated using X-ray diffraction. A nondestructive method to estimate inelastic strains using deformation has been proposed to evaluate the quality of the in turbine rotor blade.
