Research content

Our laboratory is engaged in development of energy transfer system from the electromagnetic to the kinetic and vice versa. The goal of development is to realize human-friendly electromagnetic systems with ultrahigh efficiency. Our representative applications are electromagnetic suspension system with single suspended point, torque ripple cancelling drive system, non-contact power transmitte system for maglev vehicles and high efficiency coreless synchronous gnerators and motors with dual Halbach arrays.
