About SCREST

In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 goals for a better world by 2030. These goals have the power to end poverty, fight inequality and stop climate change. Guided by the goals, it is now up to all of us, governments, businesses, civil society, and the general public to work together to build a better future for everyone.

To solve global problems, interdisciplinary collaboration is being required. The innovative energy materials would be created by collaborating among various researchers in the field of physics, chemistry, materials, mechanical, and electrical engineering because such collaboration can promote effective acquisition of state of the technology in each field.

The SCREST (The Symposium for Collaborative Research on Energy Science and Technology) aim to enhance the collaborative research between the Kogakuin University and National University of Singapore, having many researchers related intensively to energy materials.
