No machine without control. Control engineering that moves society

Control engineering is the design of mechanisms to make machines operate as intended. Control theory, which supports social infrastructure, is a systematized, interdisciplinary field, just like mechanics, electricity, information, chemistry, architecture, and life. Our laboratory uses real systems such as industrial machinery, automobiles, aerospace, and robots to research added-value control theory that focuses on "energy," "safety," "anomaly detection," and "ease of control." We submit our findings to journals both in Japan and overseas. We also conduct joint research with companies, producing many products.
