Electric Environmental Chemistry

Supervisor
Shiro SEKI: Associate Professor

Establishing of technologies for high efficient electric usage is strongly desired towards environmental society. In our laboratory, we focused infinite possibility of 'Materials', and high precision and multiple analysis, microscopic direct reaction monitoring at electrode / electrolyte interfaces, and research and development of electrochemical devices (batteries and so on) are investigated. Moreover, innovative battery performance / concept is realized by using new-type liquid materials 'Ionic liquids'.

Topics of research
  • Research and development of innovative / high-safe battery systems.
  • Multiple modeling of new electrolyte materials.
  • Direct observation of electrochemical reaction by nanotechnology.
