Printed Electronics Laboratory

Supervisor
Yukihiro KUDOH: Associate Professor

In recent years, printing technology has been increasingly applied to the manufacturing of various electronic devices. However, there are several critical issues that need to be considered. In our laboratory, we are conducting research on methods for forming and fabricating optical elements and electronic components using printing techniques, such as 3D printers and electrospray deposition technology. Our research aims to develop highly functional, low power-consuming, low-cost, and environmentally friendly optical elements, with a particular focus on liquid crystal elements, by applying these technologies.

Topics of research
  • Research on electronic display devices.
  • Research on the electrowetting devices.
  • Research on 3D printer applications.
