Image Processing Algorithm Laboratory

Image Processing Technologies to Enrich Our Lives

Supervisor
Kazunori URUMA: Associate Professor

With the improvement of computer performance and the development of mathematical theory, image processing and image restoration techniques are used in many situations. In our laboratory, we conduct research on new image processing technologies that are required in our daily lives such as color transforming technology to images with desirable color, super-resolution, image colorization, image inpainting, high-performance image compression technology, etc.

Topics of research
  • image reconstruction algorithm
  • image compression technique
