[Research fields: Design and architecture] Tominaga Laboratory

Supervisor
Hiroko TOMINAGA: Professor

We are part of a long history. And learning about the great architecture of the past will make new designs of future. The main theme of our laboratory is "inheritance and renewal."
In graduate school project activities, we first uncover "what changes and what does not change'' in architecture and cities through thorough on-site research and analysis of actual villages and housing complexes in various environments. Then, we will consider a "design method that connects history and modernity'' for the target area and make a concrete proposal. Move your mind and body to the fullest and get a shot into the future.
