We define the word "design" as a technique for finding and solving the various kinds of problems aesthetically. Our subject of research is architectural design to realize sustainable community, economy and environment of local society. Now we are participating in the project of sustainable community design of the small island in the Seto Inland Sea. We are studying the island’s regional master plan that promotes art tourism collaborating with the artist. It is the social experiments that validate through the practices.
