Considering Architecture that Leads from Life to Comfortable Living

Supervisor
Risa Fujii: Associate Professor

Architecture is closely linked to people's lives, incorporating theories of planning and enterprise. It is also crucial to consider learning from our daily lives as a fundamental approach. In our laboratory, amidst the complexities of modern society, we focus on how facility planning should cater to users and the local community. Our research specifically targets children's facilities and welfare institutions, prioritizing the users' perspective. By valuing both architectural planning and the study of lifestyle science, we explore what architecture can lead from life to comfortable living.

Topics of research
